Something to Write About…
Write a new blog post. It must be at least one GOOD paragraph long. Remember a good paragraph has 5-7 lines and has a topic sentence, supporting details and a concluding sentence.
Sometimes it’s hard to find something to write about, so I’ve posted a couple of slightly out of the ordinary pictures that might spark your imagination. If that doesn’t do it for you, then here are a couple written prompts for you:
-
What is your favorite meal? Describe it in detail, including what it looks, smells, and tastes like.
- If I could give one piece of advice to any person in history, that advice would be?
Still not feeling it? Open your independent reading book and choose a line to “borrow” and write off that line like we did at the beginning of the year. Some of you called it “steal a line.”
I love “borrowing” a line! I think it’s so much fun! Hope everyone has fun writing their blog posts!! Love the cute pictures, Mrs. Smith!
Thanks, Ms. Haseltine!
I love prompts. They are so open minded so you can let your imagination go freely. It helps your creativity improve. I am going to write a story on this picture.
