About
We are three 6th grade English/Language Arts classes in Loudoun County, Virginia. Our blog name comes from our teacher’s last name, Smith and the fact that we read and write everyday, so we call ourselves, “wordsmiths.’ The eagle is our school mascot, so there you have it: Eagle Wordsmiths.
Our classes are part of a technology pilot program using laptops. We are truly lucky to be able to explore how technology engages and enhances learning!
Please feel free to comment and connect with us! We’d love to see and hear what other 6th grade classes are learning and how they use technology!
Hi my name is Toby, and I’m a 12 year old boy from Cardiff, California, which is near San Diego. I think the way you got you’re blog name is so cool! Also here is a question, how is it like to live where you live? In Cardiff, we are right next to the beach! Here in Cardiff we have great weather, usually very warm, so we can go to the beach a lot! Anyways, maybe you want to come check out our class blog, and my student blog!
